Claudia & Dan’s wedding has been years in the making. They first met in Year 1, reconnected in high school, and started dating after the HSC. After a sweet proposal at Observatory Hill, they planned a day that was relaxed, thoughtful, and full of joy—kicking things off with a beautiful The Mint Sydney wedding ceremony.
I stumbled across Hayley’s socials very early in wedding planning and knew instantly she was the photographer I wanted to go with. Her photos were just beautiful. After booking with Hayley, she was super helpful and knowledgeable with the planning sides of things and sent regular updates.
How did you come to choose your venue?
“We loved that Rydges Campbelltown was equipped to host both our ceremony and reception, with a fun canape hour in between.”
Why did you choose to have your wedding at Gracelands, Forresters Beach? “We found Gracelands via social media and loved our first visit there! Beautiful venue, love how close the venue is to the beach and love that the ceremony and reception is all in one.”
Why did you choose to have your wedding in Davistown? “The venue is Harry’s parents place where we have been spending a fair bit of time on weekends in recent years.”
When and where did you get engaged?
“We were on our first holiday together in November 2022 and Jai proposed to me in my favourite place in the entire world.. Central Park, New York City.”
Why did you choose to have your wedding in Wollongong? “The ceremony has a beautiful view of the ocean and we both love the ocean and the beach so we thought it was perfect.”
Why did you choose to have your wedding at Bennelong, Sydney Opera House?
“We wanted a city wedding and were going for the vibe of a winter luxury, long lunch. We chose Bennelong because the food and view is the best. It is iconic Sydney! And such a special treat for our closest loved ones to share with us.”
