Sarah & Grace’s Surprise Gledswood Homestead and Winery Wedding

From the get-go, Sarah & Grace had a fun idea brewing for their big day. After getting engaged during a photoshoot in Kiama last November, they decided to throw what their guests thought was just an engagement party. They chose Gledswood Homestead & Winery for the celebration—a gorgeous spot full of charm, beautiful gardens, and that perfect rustic vibe. 

At 5pm, 100 of their closest friends and family gathered in the Cask Room, a cozy space with timber floors and a warm open fireplace. Everything seemed set for a chill engagement party, but then came the big surprise. Wedding celebrant (and Gogglebox legend) Mark Dalton stepped up and revealed the twist: this wasn’t just an engagement party—it was Sarah & Grace’s wedding. Cue the cheers, hugs, and happy tears from everyone in the room. Five minutes later, we were diving into the ceremony.

The couple exchanged vows that got everyone a little teary-eyed. After some relaxed family photos and a few speeches, it was time to hit the dance floor. And, of course, Taylor Swift kicked things off. The vibe of the night was warm, laid-back, and full of love. It was the perfect reflection of Sarah & Grace and their easy-going, fun personalities.

A Gledswood Homestead & Winery wedding is already full of charm, but Sarah & Grace took it to the next level. Their surprise celebration was relaxed, joyful, and totally unforgettable. I was so lucky to be there to capture it all.
