Sun-Kissed Love: Isabella and Aaron’s Horizons, Maroubra Wedding

Photographing Isabella and Aaron’s wedding at Horizons, Maroubra, was an absolute blast. The day greeted us with a generous dose of sunshine and the most spectacular views you could imagine. Isabella and Aaron were an absolute riot – full of energy, laughter, and a zest for life that was contagious. From the get-go at Isabella’s parents’ house, where they were getting ready, the atmosphere was laid-back and fun, which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day.

The morning was all about smiles, inside jokes, and the kind of camaraderie that truly made it a memorable start. The couple’s vows were exchanged against the backdrop of South Maroubra beach, with the endless stretch of the ocean adding a touch of magic to the moment. Post-ceremony, we ventured over to the jaw-dropping cliffs at Bonds lookout for some seriously stunning couples’ portraits that couldn’t have turned out better. Then, it was off to Horizons for the reception, which was like stepping into a dream – the decor was beyond words. But, the best part came later, with an epic fireworks display that literally lit up the night and a dance floor that saw no limits. Isabella and Aaron sure knew how to throw a party that no one will ever forget.

Tell me about your ‘The Beginning’

“We met at Monkey Mania! I was working as a party host and Aaron would work the go karts. I had to ask Aaron to dress up in a monkey suit for one of my parties. The rest is history.”

When and where did you get engaged?

“Aaron proposed on a trip to Melbourne in August, 2022. On our first Valentine’s Day together, 9 years ago, he had given me a love coupon book and I recently found the book and had been cashing in my coupons (head massage, day of shopping, things like that). Aaron told me to close my eyes and when I opened my eyes I was holding a coupon, from the love coupon book that said “will you marry me?” I screamed!!!! .”

What style/theme have you chosen for your Horizons, Maroubra Wedding?

“Where the forest meets the beach – romantic forest vibes with greenery.”

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

“Our entrance, our first dance, THE VOWS!!! my dads speech and dancing with all the people we love.”
