Tell me about your The Beginning!

Mitch and I met on Tinder about a month after I moved to Australia in 2018
We went on our first date and Mitch took me to meet kangaroos for the first time

 

When and where did you get engaged?

Mitch and I got engaged in April 2024
We were at home and mitch presented me with a spicy margarita, and floating on the garnish was the ring
Mitch early on told me he would propose when we were with my family as they live in america,I had been hassleing him about engagement all week as I assumed it would happen because my parents were visiting. I had a literal breakdown about the stress, little did I know he was going to propose in 20 minutes lol

That weekend we went away with my parents, and then came back and surprised Mitch’s family with the news

 

Why did you choose to have your wedding at the Barrel Room, Leichhardt?

I wanted something really laid back and chill. The barrel room was beautiful, and felt more comfortable than all the more formal venues we looked at

 

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Seeing how hard Mitch cries when he sees me lol
I think just generally being married to Mitch, and getting to celebrate that with our loved ones.

 

Top Tips!

Design a day around what feels most you. Its a lot of work, so don’t do something that doesnt feel right or comfortable.
Lots of venues I looked at I thought were beautiful, but I knew I would feel anxious and overwhelmed because it was too formal or too traditional.
Dont do what you think you should do what you want
