Rachael & Nathan’s wedding at Willie the Boatman was an absolute winner—and not just because it’s now my favourite venue. The day was intimate, full of personality, and totally them. Rachael’s parents flew in from overseas to be there, and local legend Lucy Suze (one of my fave celebrants) led a ceremony that was equal parts heartfelt and hilarious.

A little drizzle outside didn’t stop us from capturing some seriously moody wedding portraits, and to top it off, we blasted emo pop-punk during the shoot. When I first met these two, we instantly bonded over our love for emo bangers—turns out, Rachael and Nathan were even at some of the same concerts before they met.

Good vibes, great music, and a wedding that couldn’t have been more perfect.
